Peacock butterfly, Alners Gorse

Uploader's Comments

What a find this place was! Tucked away in a lane between Hazelbury Bryan and Kings Stag, I lived within 15 miles of this butterfly reserve for 20years and never visited it. Butterflies were everywhere you looked; there were so many you never had the problem of finding one that would settle long enough for the autofocus to wake up; and who can resist a butterfly as beautiful as this, regardless of how common it is.
