The Border runs along this road, seemingly to the east - so, standing more-or-less in the middle of the road, looking south, I think I am in Scotland ... but on reaching the A1065, a couple of kilometres north, there is such a gap between the Border Stanes, that one struggles to tell where the line actually lies ...... so who knows/wae can tell?
