The Falcon (Site of) - Public Houses, Inns and Taverns of Wisbech

Uploader's Comments

The Falcon Inn once stood on this site in Little Church Street facing the back of The Globe Inn. It was demolished in the 1860s and a Methodist's Chapel was built on the site. This was subsequently demolished and replaced with a department store, owned initially by the Co-Op and subsequently Beales. An old photo looking along the street showing a couple of distant inn signs can be seen here http://media.geograph.org.uk/view.php?id=2171
