West Colquite Wood, Cornwall

The Camel Trail

Uploader's Comments

This the exact point where the steam engines took on water from the stream on their way up to Wenford Bridge clay "Dries". Little remains of the tank and water apparatus now, but the old boundary stone, seen in many of the old pictures of engines taking on water can still be seen.
