Turville Wood, Buckinghamshire

Holloway Lane out of Turville towards Christmas Common

Sorry it is a bit blurred but it needed a long shutter speed because it is always so dark in this wooded and sunken spot. A favourite of cyclists because it is a long 1 in 10 drag to test them. The banks are incredibly high at points and covered in luxuriant moss. The banks are extremely ancient and are likely to be the boundaries between two Saxon-era estates.
