Rocks at Porth Maen melyn

Uploader's Comments

Deep between the two headlands is a narrow, rocky cove that seems to get pounded by the waves. Nearby is St. Mary's well and the ruins of the church. The view is from the head of the bay just before the grass gives way to rocks and the small stream falls away into the sea. I've read that this is where the pilgrims set sail across to Bardsey Island, to me it seems like a precarious trip down to the rocks and dangerous for a boat.
