Cairn at 'summit' of Three Pikes

Uploader's Comments

It's hard to understand the naming of this two thousand foot top as there's nothing about its structure that could conceivably be described as pike-like! The photograph is of and beyond a cairn that coincides closely, but not exactly with the OS survey point at 651m; (GPSr reading was NY83380 34330.) Other locations about the peat banked, hagged and bogged summit are of a similar height. The distant hill is Great Stony Hill, where the summit location is not in doubt!
