The Weir, Cambridgeshire

Grace baptist Chapel, Warboys

Uploader's Comments

Baptist non-conformism started in Warboys in 1644 when a soldier from Cromwell's army, Henry Denne preached in the village and formed a nucleus of believers that started the church. Baptist worship started on this site in 1827 in a thatched barn. This was replaced by a brick building. The frontage of this building was completed in 1899.
