Monument slope, Netley Park

Uploader's Comments

Netley Park was left to the National Trust by the William Aleander Robertson memorial trust in 1940. In accordance with his wishes a memorial was erected to his two brothers who had died in the First World War on the slope above Netley House. This slope is kept free of trees to allow unhindered views of the memorial.
