Stone Grove, Norfolk

The Stockton Stone - Glacial Erratic

Uploader's Comments

I actually pass this stone almost every day but have only ever taken one picture, being rather useless. [[[1526471]]]. I stopped again and took some better shots. It is not known if it is ancient or not, another glacial erratic like the example at Merton [[[1954360]]]. The oblong piece of sandstone was placed nearby by ice, during the last ice age.
