The summit, 1011m, is third of the five spot heights along the ridge of Buachaille Etive Mor when traversing E to W. Ben Starav is in view in the distance on the left. The smooth torpedo-shaped clouds above centre are wave clouds (altocumulus lenticularis), forming at the crests of winds in the middle atmosphere set into wave motion by mountains upwind.
