Siston, South Gloucestershire

St Anne's, Siston

Uploader's Comments

The old church is associated with the nearby Siston Court, itself an ancient seat perhaps as far back as Saxon times. The church has many period details, including a Norman entrance. But the historians believe it was a Saxon church originally, and some think it may be on the site of a Celtic temple!
