The path is a 3km circuit which circles Ben Charcaig, just east of Portee town. The start is a small car park below the Cuillin Hills Hotel, and to begin with, the path is mostly level and well-surfaced. However, as the path continues round the coast, it becomes a little more challenging, but the reward is some fine coastal views.
