Sgeir Fhada, Highland

Sgeir Fhada

Uploader's Comments

Sgier Fhada translates as 'long skerry', although most of the rocks are out of view down on the shoreline. The main interest here is the prehistoric fort marked on the OS map. This small headland is undoubtedly the site, but there is nothing on the ground to suggest a defended area.
