Bridges over Allt Fe

Uploader's Comments

The old arched stone bridge on the right carried the former single-track A87 which was replaced by the modern two-lane road and concrete box bridge in the 1960s. The old bridge, and a short section of the old road, have been used by the council as a tipping ground for waste soil and road scrapings which were put there some years ago. The deposits have now become home to a jungle of vegetation, including the gorse seen flowering profusely here. This view is looking south east towards Broadford. View the other way: [[[2409202]]]
