Waun Rudd sinkhole

Uploader's Comments

This is one of the largest sinkholes in South Wales - there are only three or four to rival it in size. A stream draining into it has been tested to the resurgence at Pwll y Cwm in the Clydach gorge, negotiating the immense Agen Allwedd cave system en route. It is one of the highlights of this globally important zone of 'interstratal karst'.
