M2 Alligator used for low tide transfer to the ferry from Caldey Island

Uploader's Comments

In useful military service from 1967 to 1996 the EWK (Eisenwerke Kaiserslautern GmbH) M2 Amphibious Bridging Vehicle was developed in the 1950s and produced until 1982. It is 11.3m long and 3m wide weighing in at about 21 tonnes. This one seems to have been modified for use as a passenger ferry.
