The path for cyclists and walkers which runs the length of the valley is seen here just to the south of Ogmore Vale. The stretch of the path to the north of Blackmill on which the photograph was taken comprises Route 883 of the National Cycle Network. The bollards seen in the picture help prevent motor vehicles from being driven along the path.
