Madgehole Copse, Surrey

Madgehole Farm from the north-east

Uploader's Comments

A rambling old farmhouse at the head of a narrow valley among the Greensand hills. Along the valley the main land-use seems to be pony paddocks. Gently sloping higher ground is being planted up at high density with conifers - presumably for Christmas trees - while the steep wooded slopes are well-stocked with pheasants.
