Cast iron post by the A30, in parish of SHAFTESBURY (NORTH DORSET District), Long Cross, opp. No. 5, (was Long Cross Farm), on grass verge, on South side of road. Cockey iron casting Erected by the Shaftesbury & New Road to Blandford turnpike trust in the 19th century.
