Loch an Sgòir, Highland

Exposed peat east of Mam na Gualainn

Uploader's Comments

The ridge connecting Mam na Gualainn with Beinn na Caillich, (beyond and to the right of the central mountain dome), is a mainly grassy affair but in the broad col in this view there is a wet area of bare peat, bog and water. The mountain range to the left and distant centre of the image is the Mamores.
