Llanwefr Pool, Powys

Upland pool

Uploader's Comments

Two very short and tiny streams flow into this pool, and flow out as the River Edw (pronounced 'ed-ooo'). The Edw flows for about 15 miles to join the River Wye at Aberedw. Its lower reaches flow through a deep and narrow gorge which can be followed by a steep and winding lane. The hills on the skyline are Llandegley rocks.
