This, the former Hare and Hounds pub in Kingstanding Road, has been on this site since the 1930s, replacing an earlier building. In recent years it has been used as the site of a hand car wash operation but on the 17th May this year, 2016, a fire broke out in the building and serious damage was done as can be seen here. In 2014 there was a plan to demolish the building and build 34 homes on the site - the future now of the old Hare and Hounds is uncertain.
