Halton, Lancashire

Way of the Roses east of Halton

Uploader's Comments

Just east of the former Halton station [[5480903]], a sign alongside the cycle route explains that the road is owned by United Utilities for access to one of their operational sites, but permissive access is granted to walkers and cyclists. It was originally a line of the Midland Railway connecting with their Carnforth-Leeds route at Wennington.
