One of many lochans in the rugged country of North Morar, separating Loch Morar and Loch Nevis. The footpath from Bracara on Loch Morar to the remote settlement of Ardintigh on the shore of Loch Nevis passes beside the loch. Our route here from Mallaig involved two ferry crossings, an 8 mile hike and an 8 mile cycle back to Mallaig.
