About a mile from its source near Bradfield St George, The Blackbourn flows under Manor Bridge, south of Hessett. The stream is barely visible through the vegetation. Downstream of Drinkstone Lake [[TL9561]] to its confluence with the Little Ouse in [[TL8880]] The Blackbourn is shown on the OS map as 'The Black Bourn'.
