Cow Gill, South Lanarkshire

Cow Gill

Uploader's Comments

Cow Gill is a small burn in this flat-floored valley between Lamington Hill and Cowgill Rig - see also the description for Richard Webb's photo [[2938890]]. 'Gill' is a Norse word for hill stream, common in the Lake District and northern Pennines, but there are several examples in this area.
