This panorama shows the spectacular countryside in this part of south Wales with the Brecon canal in the middle distance (behind the line of trees) and onwards to the Usk valley. The Skirrid mountain is visible on the left of the photograph. Behind me, from where I took the picture, is Pant Bach, a whitewashed cottage where my grandparents lived sixty years ago.
