Coed Tan-y-fron, Isle of Anglesey

High wall stile

Uploader's Comments

A stone wall, (Penmon limestone) surrounding Penmon Park, being grazed by sheep, not deer. It is about 8 feet high, with steps either side and a wrought iron gate. It is a means of crossing over a wall, albeit through a gate, so could be construed as a stile, or at least a distinctive Anglesey version. There is a similar one at the other end of this path, by the ruined priory.
