The church was built in 1783 by George Ross to accommodate Gaelic speakers who had been displaced during the Clearances. B-listed: http://data.historic-scotland.gov.uk/pls/htmldb/f?p=2200:15:0::::BUILDING:23706 . The church fell into ruins as recently as the 1960s.
