There's a pub at Defynnog, and all the way down this stretch of road I could practically smell the beer. I was looking forward to drying my damp socks in front of the fire and generally getting warm again. Imagine my dismay when we discovered that the pub wouldn't open for another three hours. This shot is from a happier time when we still believed that the pub would be open.
