Twthill, Rhuddlan

Uploader's Comments

Twthill is the site of a motte and bailey castle built in 1073 by Robert of Rhuddlan at the command of William the Conqueror. The site was replaced by the nearby Rhuddlan Castle built two centuries later for Edward I's conquest of Wales.
