Castle Crag, Cumbria

Castle Crag

Uploader's Comments

Castle Crag is a common name for cliffs among the Cumbrian mountains; the rock face in view against the waters of Haweswater is one of them. There's the remains of an Iron Age fort on the grassy dome above the crag. - http://www.lakedistrict-walks.co.uk/Features/Ancient_Remains/Iron_Age/Castle_Crag_Hillfort_Mardale.html
