As the map shows, Black Wood is to the left (north) of the track, and there is a clearing to the right, between the track and the Carnock Burn. Ahead, at the far end of the clearing ([[3617399]]), a track (now overgrown) branches off to the right, leading to [[3617372]]: [[3617401]].
