Barton Wood, Devon

Rocky & bouldery foreshore below Barton Wood

Uploader's Comments

This is the scene for a couple or three miles between Clovelly and Buck's Mills - a beach composed of large cobbles from the cliffs, with (mainly) steeply-dipping mudstones and sandstones exposed at various places on the cliffs and shore. the walking's not too difficult, but don't get caught by a rising tide, and don't expect to make 3mph.
