On OS maps at both 1:50 000 and 1:25 000 scales the name An Socach is printed close to two knolls each at 358 m. There is however a slightly higher top to this mountain, north-east of those at 358 m. and away from the name printed on those maps. The image here was taken from the 362 m. point, looking north over rocky outcrops and beyond to two more mountains, An Grianan and Meall Derag.
