The forest road seen in the left of the photo and its continuation back west and downhill is the only viable road - the others marked in the west of this square are only vestiges although brush has been cleared to keep them passable. The reason is unclear since there is hardly a tourist hot-spot nearby. Perhaps it is for deer control. I saw several in the secluded area by these ghost tracks including a white (very light coloured) doe.
