Trefriw, par. and vil. (ry. sta. Llanrwst and Trefriw), Carnarvonshire, on river Conway, 1½ mile NW. of Llanrwst, 9576 ac. (including Llanrhychwyn), pop. 625; P.O., T.O.; was a seat of Llewelyn's; Trefriw Spa is 1½ mile N. of vil.; in the tourist season Trefriw has communication by steamer with Degariwy and Conway.
