Marston, township and vil., Great Budworth par., Cheshire, on Trent and Mersey Canal, 2 miles NE. of Northwich, 1113 ac., pop. 969; P.O., T.O.; has extensive salt mines and salt works; one salt mine, the most noticeable, was visited by the Emperor Nicholas of Russia in 1844.
